About Magen Thurman
Magen Thurman is a song writer, solo artist, and worship leader for one of the 20 top churches in the US. She grew up singing with her mom as the the daughter of a prominent TX pastor while also performing regularly at Country Music Oprys. Her training years were spent under the instruction of of Brian Schexnayder where she learned speech level (pop/belt) technique.
Today, Magen lives in Leesburg, VA with her husband, Cory. She serves as one of the Directors for Worship at McLean Bible Church in Vienna, VA. She is a worship leader, team leader, ministry leader, and a conference worship leader for the D.C. Metro area. She’s opened for notable artists such as John Mark McMillen, Amy Grant, Shane and Shane and Phil Wickham. She co-wrote a top 20 CCLITV song "Until That Day Comes" and continues to write, record with People and Songs and Jennie Lee Riddle.
As a worship leader, Magen’s greatest desire equip the saints for ministry and to see the Lord’s people worship Him with a deep and genuine understanding of who He is, both corporately and individually.
